Lane Head South Residents’ Group was founded in 2002 to improve the environment of both the physical and social aspects of the area skirted by the East Lancs, Warrington Road and Newton Road, including the Winton Road estate, Kenyon Lane and Winwick Lane.
Meetings held every two months from January to November, at Travelodge, Newton Road - 7.30pm.

Cheque Presentation to Wigan & Leigh People First.

They were all delighted to receive the sum of £620 which was raised from the Open Gardens Day.

The money will be put towards improving the outside facilities which will then enable the Group to take advantage of nice weather.

Bowling Competition

A friendly crown green bowling competition was held at the Red Lion, Lowton, to have fun and raise funds.

A member of LHSRG, Mr Les Bagshaw, presented a cheque for £175 to the
Air Ambulance service.
